Directions you may need to transfer utilities:

1.      Health Unit- You will need to go to the Health Unit to get your flood/sewer permits.  The Health Unit is off of the Livingston exit towards Hammond.  From Denham Springs exit, take a left.  The Health Unit is a big, metal blue building on left.  The permits are about $50-60.  Address is 29261 Frost Rd.  #225-686-9364

2.      DEMCO- the Health Unit will fax the permits to Demco, but you will need to set up the account.  To get to DEMCO from the Health Unit, take left and go a little further down on Frost Rd.  DEMCO is on the right.  The address is 29444 Frost Rd.  #’s are 225-686-2591 or 225-261-1177.  They will do a credit check to determine deposit amount.  They only take cash for the deposit.  If you need cash you can go to Capital One about 1 ½ blocks further down Frost.

3.      WARD 2 Water-Open M-F, 8-4:30.  Make sure to bring a copy of your contract.  There is a $75 dollar deposit if you have not had water in your name before.  The phone # is 225-665-5188.  They are located off Lockhart Rd. in Denham Springs (brown, brick building by water tower) the address is 30772 Carter Drive.

4.      MODAD-call to set up-225-305-1000 (deposit is $62.50 and it’s about $25.00/month)
